I've expanded!

Last night I couldnt take it anymore, I needed a bigger area to craft in, So i expanded to the basement. I rearranged some of the stuff that is down there and created a nice little corner for myself. Here is my new crafting area in three different views ... this is where the magic'll happen :)

 

Its a little sad when you get giddy over a craft room... haha what have I become?!

Another amazing opportunity? I think so!

So, if getting into the market wasn't a big enough deal... I got this email today:

Really!?!?! REALLY!!! I cant even believe it. I am so overwhelmed, but in such a good way. I read it like 20 times before really taking it in and replying with an ecstatic YES. This whole thing is taking off before I can even get a chance to get it going. So She offered me two dates to be features and I picked May 9th... So Stayed tuned until then and I will keep you posted on when that shows up. Until then, you should hop on over to her blog and take a look. If you are searching for blogs to browse, this is an awesome place to do it. There is a button on the top that says 'blogs'... Click that and it will offer you categories galore to browse though! Be prepared to be lost in them for hours.

Well I guess its about time I get this thing up and going. I feel like there are a BILLION things I have to do to get started with selling my own stuff.

Make the product. 

Photograph it.

Create business cards. 

Create packaging. 

Open an etsy shop. 

start a blog. 

Create a header. 

post and repost product. 

Apply for bijou market. 

Write the fine print. 

Find the time to do it all. 

Slowly but surely I am getting it all going though and it feels really good.
I know I dont have any followers yet, but hopefully soon enough I will so I am just going to write like everyone reads this.

They spotlighted me today on their blog (bijoumarket.com).. its still a little unreal to me.

So after the shock of actually getting in, the realization that i need to start creating like mad over the next month set in, and that is when I realized that I need to expand my 'craft area' which consists of the 3x4 foot area of my room that I spread out all over. So I think i am taking over an area of my unfinished basement as homebase. There I will craft my weeks away creating awesome things and NOT having to clean it all up before I go to bed. It will be nice.  I suppose I will upload some pics of that, whenever it happens. but for now here is a picture of what my crafting room looks like right now.
